On Wednesday May 2nd, students in Grade 1-8 at Spring Garden Waldorf, will enjoy May Day celebrations after main lesson. Come celebrate the hard earned coming of Spring with us! Parents and siblings are welcome to enjoy these activities alongside their children.  Note that Early Childhood children and families will have their own, smaller celebration.

At 11:30 a.m.  Students in Grade 1-8 will form a May Day procession to Sportsman’s club pavilion while singing a spring song.

At 11:40 a.m.  Children are divided into groups for a scavenger hunt.  Each group has children from grades 1-8.  The eighth graders lead all the groups.

At 12:10 p.m.  Lunch and Lemon Cupcakes are served at the pavilion

At 12:45 p.m.  The community is invited to join in as students form a circle and verse to close lunch. From the close of lunch until early dismissal at 2pm, there will be maypole dances, sword dances, a garden blessing and closing verse.

Hope to see you there!
